Excellent overnight motel stay. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Check-in is 2 pm, not the normal 3pm so that's a bonus. The only drawback was the wifi which occasionally disconnected altho I didn't spend any time trying all their wifi options because I brought my own hotspot. I would definitely recommend this motel esp at this price level.
In my behest to book my room online I entered the wrong date. My vehicle needed repair and i had to get a room at 1am. I explained to the staff my quandary. They were kind enough to look after my gaff without incident. Thank you for that. I might add, the room was clean and bedding seemed new. All in all an unexpected great experience . Thank you!!
The teller had amazing customer service, the location of nearby restaurants and Walmart made it nice if needed items. The room was clean and well maintained, i love the coffee maker it had. The only issue i had was it had no fridge and no extra toilet paper.
I made my reservation online and there were some issues upon arrival and during my stay. My original review was pretty brutal but honest. The property manager called me personally to apologize and express his concerns for the issues I experienced. He went out of his way to make things right and that makes all the difference. I can now say I would stay here again. Great value!
Was a little hesitant at first but truly don't judge a book by its cover. First of all the owner (lady) was extremely nice and very helpful. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. If just need a quick place to stay I would definitely say Gateway Inn! Thank you again
I loved this hotel! The outside looked somewhat antiquated but the inside of the rooms were so nicely kept. Everything is basically White, the walls, the floor, the drapes, blankets... Very well kept. Customer service was very accommodating.
From the outside it's a small, old motel.... Don't let that fool you! This place is quiet, clean, and neat with comfortable beds and adorable, newly -renovated rooms. The desk staff is lovely and very sweet, and it's clear they take pride in their work as the place has just been remodeled. Quiet, clean, safe, and affordable, with lightning fast internet and only a minute from the interstate - this place is great and I'll definitely be back! Also the room I stayed in had a bunk bed, which I think is so cool for families with kiddos!
Okay, my family and I have been all across the country staying in various places. However, when my wife and I moved to Lake City Florida, our first night we stayed at "Knights Inn!" How disgusting. Then we saw this hotel and no sonner than we get out of the car, the managers greeted us with a smile and a room. The room "Exceeded" our expectations. We first stayed in room 12. And it was absolutely amazing. Clean, no markings on the wall. No bedbugs, no nothing. Then we left for a few weeks and returned. We got put in room 19. Again, clean, freshly painted, new floor tiles. The staff, Amazing and very polite and accommodating to your every needs. While being here, all rooms have been modified with fresh paint, floor tiles, microwave and refrigerator. The staff are "Top Notch!" I will not stay anywhere else but Gateway Inn. Excellent staff, rooms and service. A 10+ for me. I'm Jello, and trust me when I tell you, this place is the absolute best in terms of cleanliness, service, price and privacy.
When you are seeking a budget hotel usually your biggest sacrifice is cleanliness but the rooms at Gateway are really clean and nice. The rooms have fridge and microwave and are good size. If I’m going to nitpick the there was only warm water from the shower, not cold but not hot. I had room 22. Parking was easy, it’s right off the main drag and freeway and the gal at the front desk Ashley was nice.
I booked my room through a third party. And when I arrived the rooms were quite full. Even though i wasn't satisfied with that room and I didn't stay, this is a great motel. It's in a great location and the price is right.. bear with them as they are doing renovations. I spoke with the owner due to my low review. But I completely understand, and he understands where I was coming from. If you're in the area, give him a stay and help him with the review! I will definitely be returning here. It's well worth it. Good luck and be blessed! I stayed here again, and I had an upgraded family room. Everything was great. Attached are the pics. Thank you
